That is the whole price. El Mirage is inside our service area, so there is no travel fee, and no added charge for evenings, weekends, holidays, or larger dogs.
Almost everyone else in this market prices by your pet's weight, then adds a travel fee, then adds more again for a night or a weekend. A family with a big dog on a Sunday can end up $75 to $175 above the figure they were first quoted. Our figure doesn't move.

We do our best to accommodate same-day requests, and our care coordinators answer calls and texts from 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., seven days a week, including weekends and holidays.
We give a two-hour arrival window, one hour either side of your appointment time, and we'll tell you what it is when you book. If you'd rather talk it through before deciding anything, that's what we're here for. There's no charge to call and no pressure to schedule.
El Mirage is close enough to Sun City and Surprise that we are often already out this way, which sometimes means we can offer a time we could not offer somewhere further out. It is worth asking. A veterinarian and a veterinary technician come to every appointment. You will never be asked to lift or carry your pet, whatever their size. Nobody is rushed, and nobody will hurry you.
Our veterinarians have chosen this work specifically, focusing on gentle, in-home euthanasia rather than splitting time with a general practice. Our team includes staff certified in pet loss and grief support.
We sit down with you first. We'll ask about your pet, talk through what is about to happen, and answer anything you want to ask, for as long as you need. You choose where your pet rests: their bed, your lap, the couch, the back patio.
When you're ready, your pet receives a sedative that includes strong pain medication. Over the next five to fifteen minutes they relax completely and fall deeply asleep. When you say so, and only then, the veterinarian gives the final injection. It's quiet, and it's quick.
Afterward we make a clay pawprint and clip a lock of fur for you to keep, and we give you time alone.
Our aftercare partner is A Greener Place in Mesa. They use aquamation, a gentle water-based alternative to flame cremation, and we handle every part of getting your pet there and your pet's ashes back to you.
If you'd like your pet's ashes returned, they come back in a wooden urn with an engraved nameplate. El Mirage families can collect them in Mesa, or have them delivered for $40. If you choose communal cremation, we scatter your pet's ashes ourselves on private land in Ash Fork, and we'll show you exactly where.
If your pet died at home before we could get to you, we can still help. We'll come to your home in El Mirage, take care of your pet gently, and handle the cremation arrangements. Body care is $455 with communal cremation and $590 with ashes returned. Call or text 602-960-2501.
El Mirage is one of the further points we travel to, so same-day is possible but not guaranteed. If you have any sense that the time is approaching, calling a day or two ahead makes a real difference to whether we can come when you'd like rather than when we're able.
No, and we mention it because this is genuinely one of our longer drives. There is still no travel fee, no after-hours surcharge and no weight tier. The distance is our cost to carry, not yours.
