Ahwatukee sits on its own side of South Mountain, and we know the ways in.
The last hour of a pet's life shouldn't be spent in a carrier, in traffic, and then on a metal table under fluorescent light. We come to you in Ahwatukee instead, so it can happen on the couch, in the yard, or wherever your pet has always been happiest.

$405, all in. Ahwatukee is inside our service area, so there is no travel fee, and no surcharge for evenings, weekends, holidays, or large dogs. A Sunday evening costs exactly what a Wednesday lunchtime costs.
$405 — At-home euthanasia
$555 — At-home euthanasia with aquamation, ashes scattered in Ash Fork
$690 — At-home euthanasia with aquamation, ashes returned to you
Almost everyone else in this market prices by your pet's weight, then adds a travel fee, then adds more again for a night or a weekend. A family with a big dog on a Sunday can end up $75 to $175 above the figure they were first quoted. Our figure doesn't move.
Care coordinators are reachable by phone or text from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day of the week, weekends and holidays included, and we try hard to fit in families who need us the same day.
You'll be given a two-hour arrival window rather than a single time, so a one o'clock appointment means we arrive between noon and two. Calling first to talk it over costs nothing and commits you to nothing, and plenty of families do exactly that.
Ahwatukee is sometimes called the island, because the mountain cuts it off from the rest of Phoenix and there are only a few routes in and out. That matters for timing, and we build it into the arrival window rather than discovering it on the day. Several Ahwatukee communities are gated, so send the code with your booking.
We come to homes throughout Ahwatukee, including Ahwatukee Foothills, Mountain Park Ranch, Lakewood, Club West, The Foothills. That list is a sample rather than a boundary. If you don't see your neighborhood on it, call or text 602-960-2501 and we'll tell you honestly whether we can get to you.
Every visit is attended by a veterinarian and a veterinary technician, so there are always two of us. That means you will never be asked to help lift or carry your pet, however large they are, and it means nothing has to be hurried.
This is not a sideline for our veterinarians; it is what they do, and do only. Every visit is led by an experienced veterinarian, supported by a team that includes staff certified in pet loss and grief support.
Nothing begins until you're ready for it to. The veterinarian will spend time with you and your pet first, ask about their life and how the last weeks have gone, and explain each step before it happens. Where your pet lies is entirely your choice: a favorite bed, the sunny spot by the door, your lap.
The first injection is a sedative with strong pain relief in it. It takes five to fifteen minutes to work, and in that time your pet simply relaxes and drifts into a deep sleep. The final injection comes only when you say you're ready, and your pet feels nothing of it.
Afterward, we take a clay pawprint and a lock of fur for you to keep, and then we step back and give you as much time alone as you'd like.
We work with A Greener Place for aftercare. They're an aquamation provider in Mesa, using a gentle, water-based process instead of flame, and we take care of the transport both ways so this is never something you have to arrange yourself.
Ashes returned to you arrive in a wooden urn with your pet's name engraved on a plate. You can pick them up in Mesa or have them brought to your Ahwatukee home for $40. Families who choose communal aquamation often ask where their pet's ashes end up. We scatter them ourselves, on private land in Ash Fork, and we'll show you the place.
Sometimes a pet passes at home before anyone can get there. If that has happened, you don't need to move them and you don't need to decide anything today. We'll come to you in Ahwatukee, care for your pet gently, and arrange the cremation. Body care is $455 with communal aquamation, $590 with ashes returned. Call or text 602-960-2501.
We reach Ahwatukee regularly and can often come the same day or the next. Because it's a moderate drive, calling earlier in the day gives us more room to fit you in when you want us.
No. We don't charge mileage, and we don't add anything for evenings, weekends or holidays, or for the size of your pet. The figure on this page is the figure on your invoice, whatever the drive.
Just tell us the community name and the gate code or guard instructions when you book, and we'll take care of access before the day. If we need to be added to a visitor list, let us know and we'll give you the names to add.
